In the distance the mountains touch the sky and the Sierra del Gerês seems to invite adventure. The green of nature, the genuine being of its people, the freedom of animals, the strength of the river that runs does not need seals that guarantee its veracity, because it feels. We are a world biosphere reserve.

This vast heritage, we highlight the monasteries of Bravães (MN), Crasto and Vila Nova de Muia, throughout the century. XII. In the historic center of Ponte da Barca, the Medieval Bridge, the Roman Bridge over the River Vade, the Church of Ponte da Barca, the Pombalino Market, Fonte Santa, Pelourinho (MN) in the Garden of Poets and the Crystals of Quartz Museum and Our Lady of Peace in the village of São João, are other monuments of great historical interest. The Castle of Lindoso (MN) and the set of Graneros de Lindoso must also be part of the script in this municipality.
In Archeology highlight the rock art stations of Chã da Rapada in Britelo and Bouça del Colado in Lindoso or the Dolmen of Lapa da Moura in Britelo. The statue-menhir of the Hermitage and the Stone of Saint Valentine in the same parish, are other examples of what we can find in a visit to this municipality.
